I'm an Australian who knows bugger-all about Scottish football. Or any football really. On the train on the way from England to Edinburgh last week, I heard a guy singing this and I smiled to myself, thinking "how fabulously Scottish that there's some random guy on the train singing a Proclaimers song." It's a great song, so I decided to watch it later on YouTube. This led me to this clip and some research on its connection to Hibernian FC. Blew my little Australian mind. As a result I'm going to the Hibs v Dundee Utd match tomorrow. Hibs have a new fan for life.
