Midnight Tokyo Run in the Tokyo Drift Evo | Wangan Run & Daikoku Car Meet!

In today's video, i take you guys along for a day in Akihabara, one of Tokyo's coolest cities! Unfortunately it was raining, so we couldn't do too much during the day. We were able to spot some cool cars in the UDX parking garage. Later that night, we hopped in the Tokyo Drift Evo & made it out to Daikoku. We got to see some really amazing cars and go on a Wangan run in the evo with some friends! We ended at a secret parking garage car meet and found out my car is broken...

I had the same no start issue with my wife's Evo 8. Turned out it was the ignition barrel getting loose and when turning the key to start the car, it would twist with the key and not trigger the starter. If memory serves me correct, pulling the steering wheel column trim will allow you access to a screw you can tighten to lock the barrel back into place. Try to keep key chains and anything heavy off your ignition key or it'll keep happening. Keep the vlogs coming 🫡

100% the starter on the car, my Evo did the same thing. It can also be the solenoid wire at the starter, they sometimes come loose or break at the eyelet!

Tap the starter with a wrench or a hamer while trying to crank the engine. It will free it up and let you start the car. Still going to need to change it for a new one, though.
