FULCRUM RACING 3.5 VS NOVATEC F172SB VS MAVIC AKSIUM RACE

Review bearing smoothness on Bontrager Affinity TLR, Fulcrum Racing 3.5 and Mavic Aksium Elite.

First, OEM Hubs (Formula Tk32) on Bontrager Affinity TLR Wheelset will be compared with Fulcrum Racing 3.5. The result is very disappointing, the OEM Hubs on Bontrager Affinity TLR spins not even close to the Fulcrum Racing 3.5.

Then I swapped the hubs on Bontrager Affinity TLR Wheelset with Novatec F172SB. The result is so much better. More smooth bearing, very much close to the Fulcrum Racing 3.5 and Mavic Aksium Elite. Not to mention almost 200 grams weight saving

This is a bad comparison. The grease is the major factor here not the bearing itself.
