Gunter Wand's cycle is the gold standard. Everytime the majestic horn and the delicate flute do this yearning unto God and He answers, all in one, goosebumps always!

This horn is in Bb when the thumb valve is up and F when down? That's the only way the fingerings make sense to me.

After hearing the flute response I thought the horn just a little too brassy. Could have been softer, more lyrical. But I don’t know the score’s annotations.
