If you have any Europe travel tips, please leave them below!😘
More tips:
- You’ll need adapters for the plugs 🔌
- Check the US travel advisory page before you book a trip
- Some Paris hotels don’t have face towels.
- Paris is having protest, demonstrations on the weekends so plan to go into the city, during the week.
- Money ( have a back up credit card but also have euros)
- metro is really cheap but you have to be really careful.
- Bring shoes!! There’s stairs everywhere.
PS: about my phone.. I did ask the metro station to play the camera footage but they just told me to file a police report. I think I saw the two boys but I wasn’t for sure and I can’t just put the paws on someone if I’m not for sure lol.

This video needs to be retitled to what to watch out for. I didn't learn anything about the budget.

Don't let anyone scare you out of solo travel. Women do it more than you think. They are just prepared! I think it's funny that a woman can live alone for 350 days a year but people will tell her not to travel solo 😑😑😑😑😑 Also, I can imagine that this would be difficult for you, but I'd suggest only taking a carry-on suitcase and a big duffle bag. If you can, hire a car service in advance from the airport to the hotel if you don't know the language. Go on tours with groups, typically the bad guys stay away if they see a tour guide or a local.

I went to to Paris in October and I did a photo shoot and these ladies came up to me to ask me to sign a petition for the homeless I figured what’s the harm well my photographer grab my hand and pulled me away and first I thought he was being rude but then he said to me they were trying to pickpocket me and I didn’t even notice. They travel in groups to try to distract you and it’s so fast you don’t even see it coming. I know better now and I’m going to Italy this summer so I’m now aware that I have to keep everything under my clothes and be carful. Glad you still had a good time.

You have to be extremely cautious in Paris with your belongings, especially near the Eiffel Tower and on the Metro. Pick pocketing is very high and the pick pocketers are able to spot tourist easily.

If you do your research before you travel to a country you never been or speaks the language you could learn about what to expect and how to protect your self. Paris, Barcelona, Madrid and Mexico City pickpockets are world famous. There are so many videos about this on YouTube. Finally sorry that happened to you.

I absolutely love traveling! My dad was in the military so we traveled. I lived in England for 5 years. And traveled to Pairs and Italy now!
My tips would be metro metro metro! Keep everything tucked on you!! Fanny packs will be your best friend. Keep back up cards and cash. Back up chargers & great for traveling. Keep some comfortable shoes on stand by. Traveling to other cities/countries are cheaper for sure like she said. From Germany to Italy was like a $60 plane ticket.
Sorry for everything that happened to you! I am glad that you were able to enjoy some things, and got back home safe and sound! 💗
I want to solo travel! There’s so much to explore and see. But honestly I’ve been unsure because I want optimum safety. I don’t want to be so far away when anything can happen and it’s just me. But idk it might also depend on the place too. But great video. Can’t wait for the next one

Traveling solo is so scary! I went to Paris in 2014 (my luggage was lost getting to our first stop, Barcelona. Luggage missing for 2 days 🙄) and while trying to squeeze on the metro, this kid comes up to my mom asking distracting questions in French. Lawd, none of us knew French so we were confused why he was still talking to us. Thankfully someone who was traveling in our group noticed him sticking his hand in her purse to grab her phone. I wasn't trying to end up in Paris jail but no one touches my momma! We pushed him back and he smoothly just walked off the train like that was his daily job pickpocketing people. Smh. Sorry that happened to you girl! But that is one of the main reasons why I'm too afraid to travel solo. Best of luck on your future travels!

I did a trip to London and Paris in January; only pack a carry on (bring a few peices and wash as needed), hostels are very affordable (honestly, you're only sleeping and bathing), if you keep valuables in your pockets, keep your hands on them lol, the metro is the way to go. Only reason I know these things is because I didn't do half of them lol

I feel more unsafe in America. Get a travel purse/backpack with safety zippers. I wear longer shirts/jackets so when my phone is in my pocket, no one can see it. I've been to Paris twice by myself. I'm sorry that this happened to you. Also, I put my lipsticks and small travel sprays in my purse when I'm over the limit in my carry on; I never get questioned about it. <---TIP for Paris airports.

I enjoy traveling solo! I will be going to Barcelona in June. I heard the same things happen in Barcelona too. Dubai is on my list for next year.
