About the Video
Delhivery is an Indian logistics and supply chain company, based in Gurgaon. The company has over 85 fulfilment centres, 24 automated sort centres, 70 hubs, 7,500+ partner centres, and 3,000+ direct delivery centres, as of 2021. About two-thirds of its revenue comes from providing third-party logistics and delivery services to e-commerce companies. In August 2021, Delhivery acquired the B2B logistics company, Spoton Logistics, for ₹1,600 crore (US$210 million). In December 2021, it acquired California-based unmanned aircraft system company Transition Robotics Inc.
In May 2022, it announced the launch of its initial public offering of ₹5,235 crore (US $690 million) at a valuation of ₹35,283 crore (US $4.6 billion). The Delhivery IPO bid date is from May 11, 2022 10.00 A.M. to May 13, 2022 5.00 P.M. The Delhivery IPO lot size is 30 shares. A retail-individual investor can apply for up to 13 lots (390 shares or ₹189,930). Valuation is high for a loss making company. They are basically making it public so that Investors could exit, and pay off debt, not completely then partially.
Okay, it belongs to a good sector but *A BIG NO NO FOR A LOSS MAKING COMPANY*

Jab profit me ayegi tab dekhenge, aur may be when it breaks first week high.

A simple point to understand is, if it had a good future Investors won't seek exit. But who knows the future. Let's see.

1. Current market volatility.
2. Seems overpriced by about 30% .
3. Listing gain may not be lucrative.
4. Post listing dip is highly possible.
5. And it may then be good entry point for Mid-to-long term.

I have seen the video and it's explained beautifully. There is always one question that arise in my mind that after seeing whole video how to decide whether to go for it or not. What is that particular thing which we need to focus on. What is that particular ratio which states that if the value is higher than something we can definitely go for it. We have seen such things when projects apply for loans, bank lay their focus on DSCR (Debt Service Coverage Ratio).
