Big Game Reveals Teased And A Canceled Nintendo Switch Release Gets Revived | News Wave

This week we're looking forward to several game announcements with Summer Game Fest coming in just a few days. Now it looks like more events are being announced along with some teases for what's to come. A canceled Switch release appears set to make a return as a physical copy.

If Geoff Keighly doesn't reveal "Fast and the Furious: We're Family", Summer Game Fest is a bust.

I know E3 has it's downsides, but I do kind of miss having that week where everything gets thrown at you. This whole "will there be a direct this week" kind of speculation is fun, but I miss taking E3 week off work and just soaking up all the amazing reveals that come each day

Pillars is set in a timeframe where swords, bows and guns were on a level playing field, so we be looking at flintlock guns in avowed, like the golden age of piracy kinda gun, definitely would give it a nice twist Vs the elder Scrolls stuff

It's kind of telling that Sonic Speed Simulator, a free fan game, does what Sonic Frontiers is trying to do but 100x better

If Silksong gets announced w/ a release date SGF will become a can't miss event for gamers annually. To get Elden Ring then Silksong back-to-back years would be huge.

A Kirby animated movie would be pretty cool.

I messaged LRG Games late last year about a Doom Eternal Physical port and they said there were no current plans but it was one game that was under consideration. I'm so ecstatic that this is finally real!!

I'm excited for Doom Eternal physically on switch. The only downside is the timing. I bought it a month ago. Luckily the pain isn't too bad, I got it with Ancient God's for £25

The guns on Avowed are muskets just like in the Pillars of Eternity games.

People being surprised that Avowed is going to have guns really shows how many missed Pillars of Eternity 1+2.

The guns in Pillars of Eternity are superb if you play as a stealth/ranged character and they're also good as a secondary for a caster. Can't wait to play Avowed!

they did.
they ACTUALLY did, gunpowder has actually been around for quite a long time, they werent accurate, but they were powerful, (for the time) and they did exist.
