Love seeing the house i grew up in 2007 on Google maps still there! I hope they don't remove it from Google maps it's a part of time capsule to revisit when I was a kid

We just had a Google car pass our house last week. I looked at our location to see if it has updated yet. It must take some time. Looking at our house over the years was kind of cool.

When I look at Google maps for my area (in Australia) it identifies the image as a few months old when actually it is several years old. Why is this?

I have just discovered that the previous owner of my house, from whom I bought it, deceived me. He told me that the house is not very old and was built in 2015. Now I have found out that my house has been there since 2001.

Has this happened before changed? Because we used to be able to view data in our street view which is has dates and clock times coverage on Google Maps! We used the app for that too! 😊😊
