I’m sitting on my patio with birds chirping so we have a sympathy between the two of us. I’m May 30th & I plan on just going with flow this month. That’s my present to myself. I just finished Mrs. ‘Arris goes to Paris and started a Cherry Ames.

I've read The Midnight Library and Before The Coffee Gets Cold. Library was interesting with alternate timelines and Coffee was a very different time travel book. I did enjoy them both.

The scarlet pimpernickle is on my list to read. I am really good at checking books out from the library and then not reading them 🤷‍♀️

I've heard good things about the new Tamera Alexander book. I want to read it eventually!

Curious to hear your thoughts on The Blue Castle! It's my favourite LMM. I just bought A Million Little Choices. Not usually into contemporary but I love Tamera Alexander's writing. I've read the first Carnton book and the Christmas novella, but haven't read the second yet - she still has to publish the third in the series which I think she set aside while writing her new release.

Sounds like a great stack of books! In May I’m currently reading Rainbow Valley by LM Montgomery, Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson, Marmee & Louisa and If You Will Ask by Oswald Chambers. I’d also like to get to the Screwtape Letters and I will be reading Lessons in Chemistry for an in person book club.

Happy Birthday Month! I love The Faerie Queene, I always manage to come back to it. Paradise Lost is great too. I enjoyed Othello but there is no shame in finding a Classic just isn't for you. Much Ado About Nothing was a slog for me.
