I wonder how many people there realized just how lucky they were to be seeing them so early on. I went to see Coldplay during their first US tour and was fortunate enough to meet them afterwards. It was freezing outside the Riviera Theatre and I would later learn they were all fighting off colds etc. but they were all so kind and gracious greeting the handful of fans who waited outside for them long after the crowds left.
A truly nice memory.
