Hi Doctor, as a patient I can’t find any information regarding the backflaw prevention requirements for saliva ejectors, is it required in USA? In Louisiana in particular? How do I see if my doctor has it? Of course I can ask directly, just not sure if the hygienist would say the truth, does a doctor usually know such things or only a hygienist? Thank you!

My back tooth is little bit chiped should i need to fix it or no its not hurting but its sharp also in the same place as the chipped tooth i have maybe 2milimeters of flaped skin witch is not hurting but sometimes i feel it with my tongue

@Dr. Mark Burhenne. I went in for a check up the other day and I was told it will cost roughly about $3, 000(after my insurance cover cost) for a single root canal/crown. I believe oral hygiene is important but $3, 000 for a single tooth is over-priced don't you think? I'm starting to question whether my tooth is worth $3, 000. I'm aware that dental costs varies but I just want your intake in regards to the typical cost for a single tooth canal/crown. If you can get back to me, I'd appreciate it. thank you in advance.

What do you do if you have severe tooth pain and no dentist open ? I know you guys know more than, ibuprofen and warm salt water. Need to know some really good ways to deal with pain until i can see a dentist.

Thank you! I just discovered your website and Facebook page and have learned so much! I have been struggling with cavities and looking for ways to prevent them. Would you recommend an electric round tip tooth brush or those water flossers or products like Clean Germ Shield UV Sanitizer – Universal Cleaning Station that Accommodates all Manual and Electric Toothbrushes, Travel Friendly, Kills 99.9% of Germs?

There is also a uv light machine on amazon that can be used on teeth, I know it’s not good for gums but that one can target just teeth and was wondering if you would recommend it. From the info on your website I was planning on using less toothpaste and making it using your recipe, soaking my retainer in the recipe you show in stainless steel, and vinegar but wondering if that’s enough, I want to be safe and I like the 99% germ kill from the uv sanitizer but not if it’s going to end up causing health issues (I think you mentioned it’s bad for retainers but the other type using sound waves was good) I use zero water but was considering using distilled water but am concerned because it seems it’s more acidic than zero water and I know acid removes enamel. Maybe adding a little baking soda to decrease the acid in distilled water but not sure if that’s safe to drink plus there is more chlorine in distilled water. Anyways please let me know if I should use an electric tooth brush, uv light, and water flosser and anything else to prevent cavities! Thank you so much I am going to tell all my friends to subscribe
