If your monitor starts flashing like it is having seizures, does that mean that the video card is going out? A month prior to it developing that symptom, a pixel line split my screen. Then six months prior to that symptom, one of the laptop screen hinges broke or froze in place. I haven't closed the lid since then. A few months after I purchased it (brand new) in 2019, it was giving me sign as if the hard drive was failing. Or maybe it just didn't have enough RAM to properly function. I've been saving all my data on an external drive. So, when it fails altogether I won't loose much.

The other symptoms it exhibits is it webpages frequently freeze, crash, or take forever to load.

my question is, does it sound like the video card is failing or is it the hard drive or both.
