7 KEYS Teaser Trailer (2024) Psychological Horror

Jeva Films and 4 8 Fourteen Films proudly present the first teaser for the upcoming thriller, 7 KEYS. Officially selected for this year's Pigeon Shrine FrightFest and screening through their 'First Blood' strand, the film will celebrate its UK Premiere on 24th August at the iconic horror festival.

Written and directed by Joy Wilkinson, 7 KEYS stars Emma McDonald (Moonhaven & The Serpent Queen) and Billy Postlethwaite (SILO & The Winter King). This is not the first time the couple have shared lead roles, having previously starred in Paul Hart's adaptation of Macbeth and the short horror film, The Everlasting Club, also directed by Wilkinson. 7 KEYS marks Wilkinson's feature debut, following its World Premiere at SXSW in March, and builds on her successful writing career for stage and screen, including Doctor Who, Lockwood & Co, and the upcoming Channel 4 thriller Suspect.

Synopsis: When single mother Lena's date lets her down, she meets lost soul Daniel and an instant connection sparks. Discovering Daniel has kept keys to every place he's lived, Lena escapes her troubled life by joining him on a wild tour of London, exploring the city and each other's identities in an intimate and thrilling weekend. As layers of secrets are peeled back, dark truths emerge, threatening their newfound bond. Will they survive the weekend and own the seventh key?

Featuring a journey through tiny apartments to riverside penthouses, 7 KEYS is a twisted love story set against the backdrop of unseen London. This thriller dives into the thrilling allure and dark underbelly of modern city life, where young people struggle to find their place and sometimes even to survive.
