hailing from aberdeen,scotland this was the shamens' first long player released in 1987 on the moksha label entitled "drop" featuring a psychedelic tinged sound. brilliant in every way.

Reminds me a bit like a slightly more improvised eclectic rendering using blueprints from some of Orange Juice's material. Maybe a little XTC, Dukes Of The Stratosphere and Pale Fountains, too. I personally like their more-or-less melodic neo-psychedelic electronic & acoustic indie dance pop tracks better than their purely electronic stuff they did only a short while later.
