I feel like in the comic book movie era we got to see Grace discuss non-genre films less and less. Was great to hear her talk so in depth about so many movies today, she’s a pro!

Vertigo has stunning cinematography, amazing use of color, beautiful set designs and fantastic imagery and shots from Hitchcock, like in the room with green neon lights. It's not a film for everybody though, it's quite slow-paced in the first half, and the main character is not exactly likeable. But it is a powerful and fascinating movie for me. The dream-like and creepy atmosphere are amazing, and the study of male obssession and control is the central thematic interest of the film, and fascinating!

Remaking any classic film is never a good idea, particularly a film like Vertigo with major plot twist, I think history have proved that

Vertigo is a masterpiece, the story of an unbelievable obsession, I took an English course on it based on a very interesting book that explains all the symbolism expressed in the scenes and I loved it even more, Not talking about the wonderful music....I love Robert Downing Jr. but I don't think he's right for the part, Jimmy Stewart's character is a man in crisis, whose dizziness is a consequence of a bad accident at work that made him retire, ` vulnerable, that's why he falls in love with Madeleine, I don't know if Robert Downing Jr. can express this vulnerability... maybe I've seen him in too many Iron Man movies and I identify him with Tony Stark.. I think Hitchcock's films are untouchable, the very idea of a remake of Vertigo gives me the creeps....

I don't think the Filoni-verse is the problem. While the show has been leaning into Star Wars lore more this season, the problem so far hasn't been accessibility but writing/pacing. Unless you do adventure of the wekk (like seasons one and two) you just can't go four episodes without your antagonist even showing up. What's the point of the show, what's the urgency, what the hell is it about?
Mando is favreau's baby (showrunner/producer/writer) and it feels like he has so much control that nobody can go up to him and tell him: Jon, your writing is awful, let someone else do it!

Omg grace!! The shop around the corner is my favorite movie and was my first introduction to Jimmy Stewart 💕💕💕 I saw it cause apparently ‘you got mail’ was kinda a remake of it, and that was when I learned that black and white movies could be SOOO much better 😂😂😂

I think certain fans or viewers of Star Wars shows will always look for every episode to be filled with high-octane battles, lightsaber fights and death like a video game.
The shows are telling a story that fans are suppose to piece together at the end.
