Adam Savage suits up in his Iron Man Mark 1 armor for his first incognito costume walkaround in almost two years! At this past weekend's SiliCon event, Adam joins the ranks of amazing cosplayers who walked the convention floor to take photos with attendees, swap costume build notes, and celebrate their fandoms. It feels so good to be surrounded by cosplay again!

Most Tony Stark thing I've ever heard Adam say "Oh hey that part didn't fall off, I'm glad for that".

My son was the little predator, he worked so hard on his costume that he made himself he just forgot to have his helmet on! You made his entire year!!! He got to go to comic con then he sees himself in your video! You made a fan for life if you ever need help making
a suit he's be glad to help you! He's at min 5:15

The world feels a little bit more back to normal now that Adam is doing his cosplay again.

A person willing to don such cumbersome prop armour purely for the pleasures of others being able to enjoy seeing it and being able to immerse as a character for just the love of it.
Its the definition of cosplay.

The way he complements everyone and absolutely let's everyone take a picture. My heart ❤. Honestly Adam is my real life hero!

I love how little kids aren't afraid of him in that big clanky costume!

For a second I though having to wear a mask while wearing cosplay must be really rough, but then I realized half of the costumes already involve full face masks and everyone else just totally made it work. Like those Avengers looked like they borrowed some of Bucky's masks. That Nurse Joker costume is especially genius, I think. Lots of cool stuff!

As Adam suited up, it reminded me exactly of when Tony first suited up in Iron Man. Also, Adam is so nice to all the other cosplayers and makers. A genuine soul. You’re my Idol Adam Savage.

Adam you are a truly a National Treasure!
The passion and work you put into these projects...one can really feel that you love doing this. That you love the interaction with other people when in costume.
Amazing work as always.

Adam Savage was able to build this suit in his cave, with a set of tools!

That "Martian" space suit looked phenomenal.

And every single one of those costumes must have been a pain to put on, especially Adam's.

I love the idea of adam trying to be apprechiated for how much of a tinkerer and nerd he is, instead of admired because of fame.

I loved watching Adam encourage the kids there. Truly the internet dad we all need right now

Always great seeing Adam showing off his cosplays in events like this. One of the best things I enjoy about being a cosplayer is talking with others about the intricacies of a costume. The material used, painting techniques, how certain effects are done, all of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Plus a great way to get tips and techniques from others.

And then I laughed my ass off at your floor exit! Never stop being the unique person you are, Adam Savage. You inspire us all. Thank you!

The fact it falls apart it thematically pleasing although realistically troublesome

This perfectly captures how it feels to cosplay at a con. Just walking 3 feet, getting pictures, walking 3 feet more, more pictures, repeat until you lose 7 pounds of water weight from heat.
