iPad Mini 6 Unboxing & Closer Look

In this video, I am unboxing the new iPad Mini 6. The 6th generation iPad Mini has some pretty big upgrades including a new design similar to that of the iPad Pro series. It now comes with the A15 chip, 5 core GPU, new and improved cameras (both front and back). What I like most about it is it has Apple Pencil 2 support and a brand new USB-C port which will make connecting external hard drives much easier. I primarily will be using the iPad Mini 6 as a monitor for flying drones and editing video in LumaFusion.

I’m absolutely in love with the new Mini! I bought it for flying (I’m a private pilot) and I’ve been waiting for this design. (All screen, magnetic pencil mount, etc.) It’s going to be GREAT in the airplane!

Also a great iPad for does who want to have maximum portability and would travel from time to time with 5g connectivity. And yes it’s an excellent idea for pilots as well. I’d say it’s a nice travel size iPad.

Nice. I’m glad to see that Apple is keeping up on the iPad mini. I know there was speculation for a while they might get rid of it. It certainly has its place.

This is a nice upgrade over the previous Mini 5. But I'm not a fan of the $100 price increase, especially when they didn't bump up the base storage from 64gb to 128gb. Which would have made the price increase easier to swallow. Great unboxing, and thanks for sharing.

Look forward to the DJI test using the iPad mini. Tried my new iPhone 13 Mini today and was very pleased with the brightness outside compared to my previous iPhone 11 which didn’t have a great screen experience. Thinking about whether the extra screen estate will help on the iPad mini as I’ve been thinking of getting one for my drones.
