Kind of frustrating that you don't show half of the cars' lights in operation.

For a video about headlights, you spent too little time on the headlights themselves, and more time showing us what the cars sounded like, and how they accelerated. At least half the cars you didn't even feature a clip of the headlights in operation. Only showing them in either their closed or open state.

You missed many much cooler ones: The Miura which had "eyelashes". The Opel GT with pop up lights that rolled sideways, 180 degrees. Jaguar XJ220 with covers that dropped in front of the headlights. Cizeta Moroder which had NOT 2 but FOUR popup lights. Corvette C4 which rolled the headlights in a spectacular way. An the ones who started it all Cord 810 and Alfa Romeo 8C, back in 1936.
Please be more thorough!

It's amazing that #1 isn't the Opel GT, but not even mentioned?

Pop-up headlights are so cool, I wish they could remake these kind of cars 😭

my car has pop-up headlights, it surprises me that people are still fascinated by them. I keep forgetting that they are becoming rare.

My first entry would have been the Cord. After all, it did start the whole thing.

What about the early Cougars? I had a '68 Cougar XR7 and the way the head lights opened was so cool. They were powered by the vacuum tubes. First the left would open and half way through the right open. Awesome to watch.

That 1965 Buick Riviera was my Grandma’s car. I loved that car and it reminded me of the Mach 5!

The Riviera and Superbird are tops but the Opal GT had manually operated lights that simply flipped over.
It was cool.

I'm glad they included the Buick Riviera at 0:55. It was definitely on my list.
It was the early 70s.
Someone I knew in high school got a blue, fairly mint like 65 Buick Riviera for his high school used car. His dad got it for him. It had those incredible headlights, and a very fast 4 bbl V8.
I got a slow 65 Pontiac station wagon with a straight 6 engine. It was better than walking.
He abused the car and didn't seem to care. Life is definitely not fair.

Fun video! I absolutely love the AM Lagonda! That is SO eighties! 2.0 turns lock-to-lock steering! As a child, my Dad had a friend with an Opel GT with the manual rotate-into-place lights which worked fine unless frozen sometimes. (Biggest problem with that car was the clutch cable didn't last long.)

I owned a white w/white leather interior, '66 Buick Riviera back in 1971. It had "flip-up" headlights that, amazingly, never malfunctioned (for me). While the milage/per/gallon was nothing to write home about, it was a beautiful ride. And, definitely was a beast on the road.

The first time I've read about Lancia being legendary was from an old Gran Turismo game (PS). And now this is the first time Ive seen it in a video literally murdering those corners at full speed damn.

And Opel GT – it's unique! Cars like F40, M1 looks good because of second headlights row.
