I love that I’m not the only impatient person that learns things the hard way. Here because I am doing all the wrong things because I jump in and don’t want to learn the details first. 😅

lol "I had no idea when you turn a fan away from you it pulls smoke in. I had no idea that was a thing" best part of the video.

Ugh!! I'm so glad I found this. I'm a lifelong artist (sewing, leather, cricut machine, painting, YOU NAME IT), and my most recent hobby is woodburning.

I knew I was getting a cheaper pen, but my god, I'd rather watch paint dry lol!! I do, however, use finger oven mitts and use watercolor pencils for my sketches, so after the burn I just take a damp cloth and wipe my sketch away! I'm definitely investing in a better, wired pen.

I just orders 4 things from Amazon to get me started in wood burning . I got a decent wood burner …it was over $100 but it comes with both types of burners and a bunch of tips. I got 4 pieces of 8x8 wood, some stencils and some carbon transfer paper…oh and some sand paper. Wish me luck

I started wood burning about a year ago but have taken the last few months off to focus on house projects. Decided to watch a couple videos before i start back up, glad i found you. Your energy is great and advice was easy to understand and follow.

Excellent videos! I’m so glad I watched a few before I tried to burn my son’s new $400 canoe paddle, boy would have we been sad, 😂. It’s not as easy as it looks. I like your videos because they’re quick, to the point and full of useful information! Mahalo 🤙

I use solid point with temp control. The wood type and prep YES 100% agree is IMPORTANT. Having experience with tattooing is actually helpful too. Understanding angles and pressure is amazing.
