It's wild that I've had a couple of these shells just from random thrift store finds, or I even have one currently from when I had hermit crabs years ago..Like it's not even that rare, it's just so insanely dangerous that it's hard to believe you could just pick one up for a few dollars from a pet store.

I was in Egypt once and i went on an island with my mom, dad, my friend and my brother. We went snorkeling and my brother found this cone snail (he didn't know that it was a cone snail) and he decided to keep it because the shell was pretty and then his friend saw that the snail was alive and he told him to put it back but he didn't want to do it. A few minutes later my parents told him to put it back and he was very sad but he did it anyways. After we went to our hotel we searched up and realised that it's deadly so he thanked his friend sooo much. Later we went to a store in Egypt near our hotel and bought a shell that looked like the one he found. 👍
