In this video, we explore how to convert images into animated videos and generate new videos using existing clips as references in Pika 1.0. 🖼️

We start by discussing how images depicting more static environments with minimal movement, like nature scenes, tend to produce better results when converted to videos in Pika Labs. Complex motions can lead to distortions. 🎞️

Next, we walk through examples creating videos from images using prompts and negative keywords. One video depicts a GTA 5 city scene generated from a DALL-E image. We expand the canvas to 16:9 and extend it to 7 seconds. 🏙️

Another example involves a space scene with a spacecraft near a black hole, converted from a DALL-E image. We apply motion controls like rotate and zoom for an interesting perspective. 🌌

I also showcase additional examples like a National Geographic style grazing cattle video. There are some distortions but overall the animations are impressive considering they came from single images. 🐄

We then explore generating videos from existing clips. I share examples attempting to recreate scenes from Spiderman, Avatar and Loki, but deformations occur without proper prompts. 🎥
