Got Logitech G533 at work and Sennheiser RS175 at home. I love Logitech products but Sennheiser wins in every aspect here. I really hope next Sennheiser wireless headphones will include microphone as well because it's their only drawback for me.

that overhang on the headband is also for structural reasons, it would be even less sturdy without it

The overhang are for hanging the headset, so the cushion are not dented. ;o)

Have you heard about the Antlion Modmic? Its a nice boom mic that you can put on any headphones and the sound quality is great.

I'm curently using the Creative Fatal1ty.
Bought that in 2011, and is still in its prime condition. my ears just are a bit to big..
Only 1 of my friends ever complained about the quality, but in all the years of WoW, and other games/programs that needed chat, he remains to be the only one complaining :\ so isnt to be taken serious lol
but since i use a g-19 and a 3Dpro(js) i think it would be nice to add it to the Logitech hard..points.

This would upgrade my gear, I've got a logitech g502 mouse, my favourite mouse I've ever used and the headphones would complete my set. I'm using a gtx670 so having good equipment would make it more even lol

I see what's going on here now! You live in an Anaconda! LOL! I was expecting the G432's mic to sound like crap, but it actually sounds like a slightly higher tier product. Still has that patented Logitech sound though! I think you're right about the cable being attached to the headset. And being so thin, eventually it is going to break.
Do you have a link for the little clip-on mic you compared the sound with? It sounds really clear and full. I could hear the bass in your voice quite well, and it wasn't booming or overpowering. I have a very loud and deep voice myself.
