Former Congressman Peter Meijer, R.-Mich., created a social media post Monday night about the "very real" threat of Hezbollah attacks on the U.S.

Meijer joins "The Hill" to explain why he thinks Americans should be concerned about potential attacks on the U.S. by Hezbollah and the "demonstrated ability of the Hezbollah to conduct surveillance in the United States."

"The Hill on NewsNation" combines the power of two trusted news sources to define today's most-pressing issues, and question Washington's power brokers on what matters most to the people they serve and what matters most to Americans. Weekdays at 5p/4C.

We should be most concerned about the thousands of unvetted possible terrorists walking across our southern border every day.

Yes, we don't want our fathers, husbands, sons, and grandsons going to war.

Americans need to mind their business and not create another 9-11 over here

The loud demonstrations are a signal they are among us. They are smaller numbers now but growing all the time.

This is the one time I can get onboard with ordinary Americans having guns.

It doesn't help that we have had open borders for two years 🙄

No America needs to stay out of this conflict. We have stuck our nose into too many wars. Like someone said, "Israel is America's ally in the mid east, but before Israel America had no enemies there either".

Why would Iran, a Shia Muslim country be sponsoring Hamas who are Sunni Muslims? The largest denomination among Palestinian Muslims are Sunnis, comprising 98–99% of the total Muslim population.

American lives are at stake. If Americans are not returned we reserve the right to retaliate!! Other countries should love THEIR citizens as much. My question is, if your citizens were murdered, kidnapped, Raped or butchered, why isn't your military supporting Israel? Or as a minimum, trying to get YOUR citizens back!! God Bless America!

If they want an eye for an eye, then give it to them. They won't survive that scenario.

This question is almost laughable. Count them, not ONE but TWO carrier fleets! Pretty soon Hammas and Hezbolla will be a forgotten memory.

If true, a recent article stated that Hamas said the US warships parked near Israel are a sign of US aggression.
