I got so much respect for miners who could’ve tried to profit off the mine but told the locals and asked them to preserve it

Mrballen not posting something scary but beautiful so that we can start a new year with good spirits rather than being scared. I wish everyone a new year in advance lol

Every time I look at pictures of this my mind is blown again. This has got to be the coolest looking place on the entire planet.

This is so beautiful and I’m just fine sitting on my swing in my safe home looking at photos of it

Close to this cave but at 300 meters depth is the Cave of the Crystals, who was discovered 20 years ago, that cave have the biggest crystals, but is not easy to visit cause is at 136ºF .

How beautiful is this story, ? Miners who cared and people did the right thing. Thank you more good stories!

It is now permanently closed and it's been allowed to flood again naturally, because the crystals just being exposed to air and not supported by their slight buoyancy in water was destroying them (especially the giant ones that lay in a deeper chamber way below the cave of swords).
And since the cave has flooded again, the crystals have probably started growing again.

Just so you all know this cave has reflooded. The only thing keeping the cave water out was the active mine. The mine shit down a few years ago so this is all under water again. This cave was well over 120 degrees with 100 percent humidity.

The crystals are awesome. I'm from Colorado, you should visit the cave of the winds in Colorado Springs. Totally awesome caves with formations. You can tour, one cavern is several hundred feet. You can even go on adventures exploring tunnels, etc.

Knowing mr. Ballen's stories, i thought the cave was gonna be destroyed but it was wholesome

You're only allowed to go so far without a some type of heat suit. Once get deeper in you're only allowed to work for like 30 min because of the temperature. All that aside it's a beautiful cave.

Yeah, but I also heard the humidity is so high that you can actually drown in 15 minutes if you go in without proper equipment.

That first pic inside the cave with the floating bridge is called Crystal Cave. It's located in Bermuda. 🇧🇲
