Mount Dora could very well be the most beautiful, coolest, most charming small town in central Florida.

This video looks at the amazing downtown, the astounding Dora Canal and even checks out the sport of lawn bowling.

I think it is very charming. But I hope my lovely town (staying hidden) never gets popular. Too many people converging on a town makes it unappealing.

Get there real early for parking.

Went out on my buddies wake boat on lake Dora last summer, got up on the wakeboard and maybe 10 seconds later a gator popped up and i literally had to jump over it, I did not get in the water the rest of the day lol
