What we are seeing here really is not about Oliva at all, it's the internet noise of 2021 tearing another female artist down. Within 10 months of Olivia's music every month there's a new headline about how she stole, copied other artist music. History repeats, look at how the media narrative started with Taylor Swift songs and "boyfriends headlines" Cleverr please choose supportive news and video titles, i know you mean well but this all feeds into the association drama.

This is getting EXHAUSTING. There is NO such thing as originality, never has been, never will be. EVERY single 'original' idea is just a blend of many ideas in a new way. Plus there are only TWELVE DAMN CHORDS...of course songs will blend into each other! Better Than Revenge and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Ms. Swift all blend perfectly into Misery Business, but that doesn't take away the authenticity of Swift's songwriting and her own unique voice. Same case with Olivia. If the only thing special about your art is that it came first, then you need to take a damn seat and make better art! I'm so over this B.S.

every artist in the industry or not in the industry yet (myself included) is influenced by at least 1 other artist. and the majority of the time, you can tell. there’s nothing bad about that. I’m also a swiftie inspired songwriter and when deja vu came out by Olivia one of my friends pointed out it’s similar to the lyrics of one of my songs (certain parts of it) so no matter who you’re inspired by it’ll still be compared to others and your idols. just let her create what’s she wants to create.
