If you push the cleaning needle through when you first load the paint, it will help start the flow.

I've seen this tool on Instagram and had trouble finding out its name! Thanks for the link and the review. I think it will work great with Ecoline's liquid watercolor ink.

You need to fill it more (use more water) kinda to the point where it feels like it's overflowing. Then dip the tip in water to get the flow starting ♥️

I am so glad you did this video. I just got the same pen and since it had no instructions of course I came to you tube to learn how to use it. Cant wait to play with it now

Amazing video Yes I did cringe a little when I saw you compare water color to ink as you found out most ink flows better than thick watercolor through a nib. Such a cool pen. I'm not smooth in lettering, but very cool watching you do it and how quickly you got the hang of the pen. Very cool and great video thank you. :) Also cool tip from David Zeller as makes sense to get the flow going. Much like why we put the knife in the catsup bottle to help get the flow going too. :)

If you merrily bang the pen around, you are going to DESTROY the ball mechanism. Obviously the ball is jammed with the high viscosity of the paint, which needs to be reduced by thinning with either a solvent or water. Why don't you figure out the working characteristics of the product before you actually make a video and mislead people by implying that the product doesn't work.
