Very very helpful! Just completed replacing my 2010 F150 Fuel Filler Pocket with the help of my wife! Your video is exactly, precisely what is involved. The only thing I would add is that the prying out of the old part actually takes quite a bit of pressure. It does not come out easily at all. We ended up cracking off pieces of the old part and pulling it out with pliers after we freed it up a bit from the housing. Thank you!

I have a 2009 Ford F150 and I tried to reach up underneath as you did here...can't do it....

You should have removed the body colored fuel door cover first. Makes the removal much easier.

The other "VERY IRRITATING" aspect of trying to insert the new assembly is that the hinge pin keeps coming out....how do I prevent that from happening?

After performing this fix, I blew the #27 fuse. I replaced it with the traction control fuse (also 20) and now the engine idles rough and there's a wrench icon glowing on the dash. Tried unhooking the battery to reboot it, but to no avail. It's hard to believe all of this precipitated from fixing the fuel filler door assembly. Any ideas?
