I have been on disability for twenty yrs now. I use Marijuana for my migraine issues. I refuse to believe I can’t have a firearm for my own self defense. Never broke a law in my life either. On top of that my state allows for the public to buy marijuana recreationally. Arrest me or not I will self defend.

A lot of my veteran brothers are self medicated with THC. Unlike alcohol or prescriptions they remain functional with little side effects. Time for this 1930's idea and laws to disappear from the books.

It's really dumb that pot is illegal federally. It's definitely less dangerous than alcohol.

While I am not a fan of alcohol or drugs; I don't believe the government has any right to tell anyone what not to do as long as you're not hurting anyone. I also believe that the firearms control act (signed by chairman Roosevelt) will eventually be overturned.

2nd ammendment should be for everyone. If a felon is released and considered "rehabilitated" or safe for community involvement, then they should be able to own guns, too. Anyone can be violent once, and anyone could smoke weed in legal states. Freedom to protect yourself is a god-given right.

When Florida legalized medical marijuana, the Shall Issue CWCP regime was already in place. The former Director of the Dept of Agriculture (which administers both programs) bragged about having a CWCP and a Medical Marijuana Card.
