"When in Rome, do as the Romans" has guided travelers and forced emigrations since before Rome existed.

A swede here, and I am not proud of the trajectory my country went through. I hope others don't follow us, but I suppose that's nothing more than a delusion.

The idea behind immigrating is to adapt to that society and leave your previous one behind.

It has always baffled me how people will flee their oppressive and destructive cultures, then rebuild the exact thing they fled and demand that they be allowed to do it. We see it even within the United States, when Democrats flee the awful conditions that their party has created in places like California, to just vote in the same politicians and policies that they fled in the first place.

Stop calling them ethnic minority backgrounds. They're majorities where their ethnicity origin is. Just call them what they are: Muslim, MiddleEastern, Arab, and African.

You don’t invite 500 different cultures into your home and expect a smooth and peaceful home life. Instead you have invited in Coas if you don’t have shared values.

As a Swede I can confirm what you said about Sweden. We've gone from being a well functioning, safe, peaceful country to a chaotic mess in just 20-25 years. It's a total shame and our ancestors are probably turning in their graves.

It has failed in Australia, but no one admits it. Every culture is celebrated, except our own. We're made to feel ashamed of it.

These people leave their third countries to first world countries and try to make it like their third world country

Multiculturalism is basically just anti-culturalism. I don't want to spend the time to explain why.

As a Turkish-American, I support this very well-made commentary by Konstantin.

As a Canadian, multiculturalism seems to be doing more harm than good for Canada. Multiculturalism doesn’t mean 💩 if there is no sense of unity

The world is multi-culture - we do not need each country to be.

As a Hispanic American, I agree. We need a national identity, national unity ; How can we achieve this with multiculturalism?

I am an Indian and I couldn’t agree more. Foreigners are often racist towards us calling us dirty or whatever but there is a reason for this. We Indians were never truly united. We have 28 states with almost every state having it’s own culture, language, history, geography, economics and even regular ethics changes with every place. The west is too afraid to be labelled as racist or xenophobic but in India it is pretty common for a person from one state to hate a person from anothet state whose culture is seen as bad or they themselves feel inferior. 75 years post independence and we still don’t have a common language to unite. The only reason we exist as a union is because most of the states are not financially very stable to survive as a country and most of them would even go in crisis sooner or later. Another reason for this is that we are indoctrinated with massive Patriotism from a very early age and it is not until becoming adult unless we start to think that why are we even existing as a nation. Some 250 years ago, No one in North India knew who lived in South India. No one is East India knew who lived in Western side of India. Multiculturalism will not work in Europe which is extremely developed and Nations are formed on the common culture, language and history and Yes some cultures are really better than others. At the End, it is true that Multicultural along with Globalism are failed concepts

We can be multi-ethnic; we will never survive being multi-cultural.

As an Aussie, our country has died. "Most successful" is not successful at all. Don't do it.
