I grew up watching the show, and I wasn't scared of any of the characters, I found all of them to be funny, now that I'm in my 50's I tend to walk down memory lane, with Sid and Marty I always felt they did a good job entertaining our generation. I will continue to watch all my childhood memories.

I'm so glad you discovered this show. It was one of my favourites although when I got to middle school none of us dared talk about it anymore. lol But even as an adult I'll watch an episode now and then. The strange thing is that what we don't know about a past time period's culture can often be scary. But the more we watch things from another era, the less scary it becomes and the more fascinated we are by them. If only all parents could train their children to open up to children's entertainment of the past, provided that it's not rooted in something that is considered immoral or offensive today, we'd have a much more culturally open-minded and informed society. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this show! Two others also by Sid and Marty Krofft that were much like Puff 'N Stuff were the Buguloos and Lidsville. Those got just as weird if not weirder, but they were still kids' shows and had a basic moral premise to each episode.

LMAO! I watched this show(and all of the other Sid and Marty Krofft shows) back in the early 70s as a child. And yeah, I'm OVER 50. So, NYAH! ;)
I have no idea how someone your age discovered these shows, but well done to you! Did you ever see Lancelot Link; Secret Chimp? If not, check that one out. =D
