Trumpster Not Happy People Are Abandoning Twitter

A Trump supporter has been complaining in the Conservative subreddit about other subreddits blocking Twitter links after the way Musk has bent the platform to his own propoganda. But their specific arguments make no sense, because they're undermining their own position by pointing out that most people don't like what Musk has done to Twitter.

They're complaining that they can't force people to listen to them. That's what it's all about to them. Dismissing them in this way hurts them. They want to legitimise their opinions. They want to say and do monsterous things but they absolutely do not want to be treated like monsters for it.

Self-awareness is in short supply among the MAGA crowd. Yesterday, I got into a long and heated discussion with a Facebook acquaintance about the Musk "arm flex"; it was a wake-up call about how polluted and radicalised seemingly reasonable people have become.

All I know is, since I went to Bluesky. My social media experience has improved. None of the lies, the hate, the misinformation, racial bias or gross toxicity of MAGA and their platforms of excrement.

The only thing we as individuals can do to stop this downwards spiral we are in is to ban and not use certain sites like X and face book and not buy their products.

A few of the subreddits I follow have had votes on banning Twitter links, and they have all gone overwhelmingly in favour of doing so.
I mostly follow lesbian, trans, and feminist stuff, so obviously the complete opposite of the MAGA demographic.
