With crayons, the trick is to color them on really hard onto the paper to get to blend nicer then scrape off the layer of wax that’s on top so it looks cleaner and not like crayola at all.
If you draw anything else like a face or an animal it won’t look the best with the texture so this technique is really useful for clean results

just in case you didn't know, if you rub crayons with baby oil then it smooths out the wax and it looks really pretty! ♥
