Thank you so much for this! I am using their kindergarten version now and trying to prepare for next year. Did you use any of their tests to determine if your children were ready to continue to the next grade? They have a readiness test I am planning to give my kindergartener just to see if she is ready. Also, if you do the reading, language arts and math, how long was it taking you each day? I am currently breaking the kindergarten into two days but see this one moves quicker. Thanks!! 😊

In the beginning, did you work through the LTR Training booklet recommended? Did I hear correctly Language Arts and Reading courses are begun midway through the LTR course, requiring 2 additional separate courses before LTR concludes...? I too am approaching this curriculum with a soon-to-be 2nd Grader; she reads fluently yet has a weak grasp on phonics and spelling. Thank you for your CLE reviews, I've been absorbing your YouTube videos the past few days. :)

Do you feel like the reading curriculum is necessary to get a full understanding of phonics? I’d like to do their LA and then read books of my choosing but didn’t know if that would work. Referring to 2nd grade on up. :)

Do you do the I Wonder Reading for the 2nd half of 1st grade or only LTR and Lang Arts? Will we miss out on something to prepare for 2nd grade if we only did LTR and Lang Arts in 1st?

Hi Trish. What helped you decide to switch from ACE to another curriculum? Not trying to be snarky. Just wondering what issues came up that swayed your decision. We are using ACE right now and it is easier for me but when I research, I get the whole "ace brainwashes your kids"
