ECDPM's Anna Knoll interviews David Khoudour of the OECD on the interaction between public policy, migration and development.

David is part of the OECD's 'Interrelations between Public Policies, Migration and Development: Case Studies and Policy Recommendations (IPPMD)' programme. This aims to enhance partner countries’ capacity to incorporate migration into the design and implementation of their development strategies.

This interview followed a Lab debate at the 2015 European Development Days where both Anna and David were contributors to a debate on 'Shifting wealth, shifting migration flows'.

Key Questions

- What were the emerging challenges to establish more coherent policies?

- With the IPPMD research being conducted across the world, do you see any differences or are there common challenges?

- What are the expected global migration trends in the longer term future?
