You sorta also forgot how they make the herbivores gentle giants in the movies but a lot of modern herbivores can be aggressive too

Most fights between carnivores went like this:
-I don't want to risk my life fighting you.
+Me neither.
-Ok, then let's just go different directions.
+yeah.

To put salt on the wound, the Dinosaurs in the first Jurassic Park Movie actually behaved like actual animals, I would even say Jurassic Park 2 had some great animalistic behaviour. However, ever since Jurassic Park 3 they threw that aspect out of the window and made the dinosaurs into stalking, dumb, bloodthirsty killing machines for the sake of... enjoyment I guess. Its sad to see this franchise fall into the "stupid dinosaurs" pit, but at least modern dinosaur documentaries are getting more and more popular, which is a blessing

As someone who enjoys Jurassic Park/World, I still do agree with you a lot

To be honest, comparing Jurassic World and Prehistoric Planet would be like comparing Aliens to a David Attenborough animal documentary or comparing Predator to Planet Earth (Documentary)

“Oh their literally animals, animals aren’t meant to be blood thirsty beasts” yes, animals aren’t blood thirsty animals who provide action when given the chance, but last I checked, large modified, genetic hybrid movie blockbuster monstrous beasts are

Fallen kingdom definitely had the worst scenes for realistic behaviour of the the Dinosaurs out of the movies. The Dino’s aren’t supposed to be accurate because their genomes were modified but their interactions should be more than just “attack whatever you see” kinda stuff.

When I saw the raptor diving under the ice for no reason and swimming like a penguin I laughed out loud. What an epically stupid moment in cinema

My biggest pet peeve is how JW: Dominion as well as other media like Primal Carnage have feathered raptors, but the feathers are just dumb looking, like with very little feathers on the torso and neck, a weird feather Mohawk, under feathered arms, and often times extremely ridiculous color schemes that wouldn’t work in real life, like a bright colored dromaeosaur. Either do feathers realistically, or don’t do them at all. In almost all media, feathered raptors are literally just the JP velociraptors with oddly placed feathers slapped onto them. It’s annoying how games don’t even try to make the feather placements accurate and instead just slap feathers onto an inaccurate velociraptor with very minor changes or none at all, not counting feathers.

This just shows how horrible movie dinosaurs are compared with Prehistoric Planet's dinosaurs and pterosaurs. That's the same issue with movie aliens, which look too human-like, when real ones (if they were ever real) would look nothing like anything found on earth (not even remotely resembling humans).

I get what your saying but I think it’s the fact they have been brought into a new environment and there only communication is there feeding crane so the point is that at the end of the movie there more peaceful like how they were meant to live because there free. Btw the pyroraptor was made to live in these cold habitats and was a semi aquatic meaning it most likely swam in cold waters (temporarily) to find prey. AS WELL we know that wolves, bears and more have been grown in the wild cos if they were quarantined in captivity with no interaction but food and water they would be highly dangerous since that’s all they have grown up with. I love both series but I believe that your opinion is wrong but u believe what u want to.

I personally enjoy the JW films and I accept that franchise is not going to have truly accurate dinosaurs. For example, the Dominion prologue showed that it's Mesozoic Era is intentionally inaccurate to the true Mesozoic Era.

you raise a good point, but i dont want a movie where a t rex just sits there for 2 hours, also a sci-fi/action movie doesnt need to be a documentary

The mosasaurus was also acting like an animal in jurassic world. It saw a snack, it ate it due to how little they feed dinosaurs in the park

Damn, it’s almost as if one is a summer blockbuster and the other is a documentary

Here's the difference.
Even though the baryonyx charged, it was still trying to avoid the lava and was seen having problems, despite it continuing.

But the pyroraptor just jumps in the water and waits, indicating it has no problems whatsoever, else it would be trying to crack the ice under their feet to speed up the hunt.

The depiction of dinosaurs in Jurassic World not only harms the general public's understanding of dinosaurs, it also arguably harms our ability to appreciate and protect the natural world around us, and particularly the large carnivores.

3:56 every single instance of "good" and "bad" animals, minus the indoraptor, is clearly identified as pure coincidence. Have you ever seen any of the heroes rejoicing when a dinosaur saves them, or even staying with them for a second? No, cus the aftermath is obvious. It's just animals showing up conveniently minding their own business while the humans business goes on until they meet, which is where a dinosaur either saves or attacks, or just ignores them.

I love how no one is using the old blunt tailed Rex to say “watch this. Even a T. rex gets more bitches than you now go outside”

Even though the behavior of the pterosaurs and the T. rex and the velociraptors and the mosasaurus made absolutely no sense in Jurassic World, I can at least look past it because it made for entertaining scenes and it wasn’t completely unbelievable. Like obviously the pterosaurs wouldn’t immediately attack human beings but it’s loosely based on the behavior of real life territorial birds. But the fact a bunch of dinosaurs decided to start a fight in the middle of a pyroclastic flow was just absurd.

Tbf, a lot of extant animals are still being treated as monsters so long as it's an action film. Since that's the entire point of the Jurassic World trilogy, I guess it's ok, cus after all, the general audience will just watch the movie and think: "good time".

Besides, Prehistoric planet is meant to be a realistic take, whereas the jurassic world directors have confirmed their liberties countless times, both concerning the creatures design and behavior. Overall I think it's cool we get different versions of dinosaurs, cus comparing both versions is a little satisfying.
