I have a scotish fold. Got her at the age of three months and my life has changed ever since. She is so so affectionate, she likes to sleep near me and follows me everywhere I go. Also very quite, calm and rarely meows. I love her so much

My first cat had many characteristics of SF. She was round and a semi-cobby, though she wasn't a pedigree cat.
She had also tiny ears, shaped like those of newborn kittens, with the tips folded down and fused with the skin, straignt on the top of her head.
She died this summer. She was 19.

I have a barn at my home. People seem to think it would be a good place to drop off their unwanted poor kitties. Someone last winter dropped off what looked like a Scottish fold. He was so sad and so afraid. I couldn't get near him until summer. He let me touch him a little bit. By late summer I could hold him. He is now in the house with me and my other kitties. He is totally different than my other cats. The traits are just what is described in this article. I can't imagine how his heart must have been hurt by being dumped the way he was. Such a good cat. He is so Very careful about not offending the others. I recomend this cat type to anyone who wants a companion. You will not be sorry.

I have had many cats, and adopted a Scottish Fold after their original owner passed away. Our Scottish Fold became best friends with our Springer Spaniel and slept together. I have had many cats but by far the Scottish Fold has the best personality, entertainment, lovable and very trainable. I love the breed. Ours lived to be 12 years old and was several years old when we adopted so a male lives around 15-16 years.

I got a Scottish fold coming around my house for a couple of months. I fed her and treated her nice and she finally trusts me and sleeps in my room. Although she wonders around the house, at times she gets bored and doesn't let me to rub her belly and I don't know how to entertain her, any tips??
