APICS - Input/Output control _ simulation

This video present a simultion of input/output control in order to balance the flow of work by monitoring and controlling the input to and output from the work centers. The presumption is that CRP has planned the input and outputs for each work center, but that the situation needs to be monitored for variances from the plan. This could occur either because not enough work is available or problems have caused output to lag input at work centers, thus building up a backlog, or queue. In any event, input/output control detects issues that need to be addressed.
