There’s plenty of jump cuts we should be aware of that makes this entertaining but ultimately hearing people out is a risk worth taking if you can. I definitely have brung food to people who refused it and asked for the cash instead or asked for gas/bus money but then proceed to keep asking—they’re in need ln more ways than we can offer but the biggest support is helping someone who genuinely was in a tight spot that quickly could’ve gotten tighter. So I risk it when I can, once the money is gone it’s not mine to micromanage.
