Hi great and underrated channel! You probably won't see this because it's a year later sorry cuz I only just saw this channel now, but how would I graph a question like this:
"The graph of the cubic function y = f(10) is shown below. Determine f(10)."
The graph shows three x intercepts at (-1, 0), (2, 0) and (5, 0). The y intercept is (0, 20).

This is how I tried to solve it whilst following through what you were doing but I don't think it's correct because I ended up getting a to equal 1/22.
f(10) = a(x-p)(x-q)(x-r)
f(10) = a(10+1)(10-2)(10-5)
20 = a(10+1)(10-2)(10-5)
20 = a(11)(8)(5) ----> 20/440
= a(440)/440
1/22 = a
f(10) = 1/22(10+1)(10-2)(10-5)
f(10) = 1/22(100-20+10-2)(10-5)
f(10) = 1/22(88)(5)
f(10) = 440

Hope you can answer and also I live in Australia so I don't use the FOIL method.

What would you do if you're only given 2 x-int and 1 y-int?
