For those who dont know, My Chemical Romance (MCR) is an American rock band formed in Newark, New Jersey, in 2001. The original lineup consisted of Gerard Way (lead vocals), Ray Toro (lead guitar), Mikey Way (bass), and Matt Pelissier (drums), who was later replaced by Bob Bryar. The band's formation was heavily influenced by the events of September 11, 2001, which inspired Gerard Way to pursue music as a means of coping with the tragedy.
