As you're asking Adrian, no, I would never book a Disney cruise (kids are grown up) as it kind of gives me the ick. I'm glad that you had a good time though and I loved the old school vibe of the ship!

I agree! I cruise Disney as an adult. I am over 60. The Wonder is my favorite ship. I grew up in Southern California and have always loved the Disney product. The ship is old school Disney hospitality. The crew is amazing always going above and beyond. The adult areas are fantastic. I love Palo I usually go for brunch snd dinner. You forgot to mention free 24 hour room service. We will order a meal and sit out on the veranda. Late sitting for dinner is quieter and Disney entertainment is top notch!!! There is also happy hour at various bars offering a good discount on drinks. We have met so many seniors like us traveling without children. We also love taking our grown children and grandchildren. I am a fan!

Yo Adrian! Hi hi to U & Michael. Nice 2 c u again reliving Disney Wonder cruise. Don’t know if u rem but we were 1 of those adult Disney fanatics couples no kids 😂! We shared ur table during dinner & rem hvg a lot of fun being surprised at Animators Palate- Vanessa & Eddy!
U wouldn’t believe it but we went bk again 😂 barely 2 mths later to Disney Wonder on a 4D cruise this tm! Too short 1st time round. Free upgrade onto Sea View cabin-nice.
We got to see the Marvel Heroes & Fireworks this tm & also rtned to say hello to the wonderful photographer at Shutters Studio who helped us take memorable portraits. We also agree that though expensive, the service & experience is best we have seen on cruises.
Tried Palo which wz excellent & looked 4 our witty waitress Sophie (who works there nw but wz on vacation this tm).
Must make a small correction- no dinner buffets on Wonder! Thought that wz a bummer.

We would love to do a cruise on Disney, Cunard And the celebrity edge before I got too sick but it sadly won't be happening for us I don't think. Hopefully we will at least get to do our ft First Cruise on princess in Nov on crown and on carnival on luminosa in Dec ❣️ so I can at least tick off Two more things on my bucket list ❣️

I went on Disney Magic with our two young kids way back in 2003. We said never again as there were just too many kids.and we went back to RCCL. Now that it's just the two of us again we've moved onto Celebrity but are keen to try Disney again.

The buffet is not open for dinner, the theme restaurants are and catering for children is fab. Room service is free if you want to stay in for dinner and a Disney movie with tired little ones. The on deck eats around the pool are also open in the evening. So much food so few hours in a day 😊

Quite interesting since similar era ships from Fincantieri have gone through a few sets of owners and already wrecked + scrapped for parts. Disney must do a lot of maintenance.

I wouldn’t book a Disney cruise if I didn’t have kids going with me. I like Disney but I believe it’s a children’s thing. It disturbs me when lots of alcohol is available where kids are supposed to be. Adults going on Disney cruises alone seems creepy. The parks have rides, the cruise has adults dressed in plushy costumes for adults’ pleasure. No. But if you are not hurting anyone, whatever.

I did look into one of their short trips just to see what the fuss was about, but the pricing was just too high for a non Disney fan. It does look like a great place to take your family, or with a large group with kids, and might be cheaper than flying anywhere to go to Disneyland 😅

Stay away from the newer Wish class of ship’s. The adult’s areas are not as good as the Magic class, or the Dream class.

I wouldn't cruise Disney again, after the, at times, poor food quality and many incorrect orders (mainly around the understaffed restaurant breakfasts), pre-purchased merchandise a no show, and other merchandise unavailable, when I cruised from Brisbane. Given that we paid extra for a Concierge Suite, which was riddled with unaddressed maintenance issues, and old power points that plugs just fell out of, the same overcrowded restaurants, menu and food as everyone else, we felt cheated. The Concierge Lounge was great, but the petite and gorgeous to look at selection of food didn't taste anywhere near as good as it looked, but was good for coffees. It was obvious on this cruise the wonderful staff were put under enormous pressure due to the deliberate understaffing. The final straw came when we were very strongly encouragedreminded (harassed), several times to leave tips and wonderful feedback as we were told that anything less than the best rating would be very bad for them. I had never had this experience on any other cruise line.

I love Disneyland but I absolutely do NOT understand the appeal of character interactions for adults. Waiting in line to meet some random person in a costume makes no sense.
