Most hard plastics can be recycled into it’s original form once and twice before being downcycled into soft plastics, which will eventually end up into the landfill.

To help reduce waste I’ll use hard plastics like tupperware for a long time till they break, for things that are single use like this shampoo bottle I’ll try to opt for plastic free options.

I like shampoo bars because they are more concentrated, replacing 2-3 bottles of shampoo. They are also packaged in a recyclable box. 

If you like liquid shampoos there are still amazing brands that make this possible. It comes in a powder you put it in the container, add some water and you’ll have liquid shampoo. When you are finished you just keep refilling the container. The container is made out of wheat straw.
