I went to my first prerelease for surging sparks yesterday. I ended up going 2-1 overall! (granted I did deck myself out game 2) Had a lot of fun crafting something new for once, and I even pulled a FULLART PIKACHU EX! Can’t wait to watch this video Mr. Gym!

This is one of the best set of prerelease decks we've had in a long time. More trainer cards in the decks makes them more consistent and the selection of pokemon and trainer cards available adds a lot to skill expression. I went to 2 prereleases and had the rabsca + gouging fire 1st time and Magnezone + Quauaval 2nd time. Won all 4 games in the 1st prerelease. We decided to do best 2 out of 3 in the 2nd prerelease for fun and I went 4-0 in that one as well. The advantage of the magnezone quaquaval deck is being able to stream attackers. Gouging fire is susceptible to just not being able to keep up once the prize trade starts due to lack of energy attachmenets, but sneaking magneton/reversal energy in the mix lets you get ahead by falling behind.

I hope the next prerelease has decks that are just as fun.

I went to the pre release at the guilded gray land and I won twice lost once but I opened a 45 dollar Pikachu full art and 2 15 dollar cards the art is incredible on the cards and they are very powerful
