I believe it is legal. The only thing that’s illegal is deforming money to try and inflate its value. Like if you took a one dollar bill and printed what a five dollar bill looks like on top of it in order to inflate its value.

The sad part is the floor is worth more than $1, $5 or even $10. Between the inherent preciousness & usefulness of its metallic properties, copper, a few of those could have imperfections, hypothetically making this floor worth thousands and at its finest, potentially over $100, 000s.
