Joseph Prince Says Speaking In Tongues Heals Your Body

Joseph Prince is a well known false teacher who teaches lies and deceit to trick people into thinking he is more spiritual than he really is. He is a typical mega church false teacher and false apostle. He actually thinks he is an apostle and calls himself one from time to time and hopes that other people call him an apostle too. In this video he claims that speaking in tongues can heal your body and stop panic attacks. Joseph Prince just makes up rubbish and tricks gullible people into believing it. The reason why so many people fall for these false teachers is because they don't read the bible and they don't spend time with God. The false teachers and false prophets sweep in and make merchandise out of them. Joseph Prince may as well be called Joseph Smith.

Speaking in tongues doesn't mean babbling nonsense, speaking in tongues means speaking a different language a minute ago that you didn't know nor understood. That's what Act 2:6-12 is saying.

If they could only see that mytic Mormons, Charismatic Catholics, Shaman, Hindus and those that practice the Enochian angelic prayer language are doing the same thing we see in these "churches" today.

I was able to get my mother in law to stop that practice after showing her proof of what I mentioned above.

She was deeply rooted in the Pentecostal movement and loved Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Copeland and all those other false teachers.

Oh, it is spiritual alright, but not the spirits we want to have company with.

Differences between the tongues of acts and that of the Corinthians. The tongues in acts was given to bring sinners to repentence. The tongues in Corinthians is for edification of the body, either for yourself or for the church through an interpretation. The tongues in acts could be understood by the persons who needed it. The tongues in Corinthians could not be understood and an interpretation was needed. Paul says that he wishes everyone spoke in tongues, not everyone was missionaries. The tongues in acts could be understood by persons who needed it there was no need of the gift of interpretation. The Christians in acts did not need to pray so that they could interpret the tongue. In Corinthians 12 Paul mentions the gift of tongues with the gift of interpretation saying that one person can receive the gift of tongues and another the gift of interpretation. This shows us that the tongues in acts was for unbelievers and that in Corinthians is for believers. The body of Christ. Paul says in verse 14 that to pray in a tongue is to pray with your spirit and you yourself is edified by it. If however there is an interpretation the whole church can be edified. In verse 39 he says do not forbid speaking in tongues. It is a sad day that Christians speaks against what God gave because they had bad experiences with the counterfeit. Jesus says in John 5:44 you cannot believe because you seek honor from one another. Start seeking only His honor and He will give revelation

Pls don't oppose for the sake of opposing as it will only confuse some Christians and may even cause some to fall off. I do not agree with Ps JP's teaching when i read the Bible and find it somewat does not align together. But we are not God when it comes to the flow of the Holy Spirit. God is free to do how He wants to touch a person, how He heals a person, and we have to be careful not to put God in a box on how things are to be done, that it has to be done the same way always. We never can say that while praying in tongues, healing may very well come upon that person. Healing can be instantaneous, healing can be progressive, or a person may not even see healing in this physical life on this earth. I myself have some experiences, others may not have, and so i believe the Lord can touch us all very differently. So do not oppose for the sake of opposing otherwise it becomes very ridiculous.

There is a guy on Christian radio named Steve Gregg who does a Q&A show and he even thinks that just praying in tongues or speaking in tongues randomly should be a daily thing. How can you not understand that speaking in tongues is used to be able to preach the gospel to someone in a foreign language?

One thing I must hold you accountable of is that when Paul said he spoke tongues more than the Corinthians, he then stated right after that in verse 19 that in the church, that he would rather speak five words with his understanding, than a thousand in a tongue. What does this mean? Anytime he is in the presence of other believers, Paul speaks to them in a language he understands. (and presumably they understand) Yet when Paul is alone, its clear he is praying in tongues he doesn't understand. If you check out 1 Corinthians 14: 28, Paul confirms one can pray in a tongue (spirit praying giving what Paul said of tongues earlier, that it is a man's spirit praying) when they are by themselves, speaking to God.

It amazes me how easily those who speak against tongues, write off these things and the fact concerning Paul mentioning "tongues of angels". Oh, that is just hyperbole. Really? Are the tongues of men then hyperbole? Is the gift of prophesy, hyperbole? Is giving up possessions and people being burned also hyperbole? Why single out one of the things Paul mentions as exaggeration, yet everything else have real prospects? Now I'm not saying everyone who claims to speak an "unknown" language is authentic. But you write off the ability of God giving someone an unheard language. You telling me God couldn't do that? I have you know, the English language you speak now, didn't exist two thousand years ago.

Speaking in tongues is the most effortless of all the gifts. Paul's letter to the Corinthians says so. When one attends a 'Pentecostal' congregation, they all raise their voices in tongues. Selfishly edifying themselves. Paul says that type of 'act' is useless unless there is an interpretation. Why do people in the congregation not seek after the other 'gifts of the Spirit?' There is more emphasis on tongues than any other gift. Because it is the most effortless.
