The Keeling Curve Data Animation
One of the most famous icons of science and the dataset that ushered in the modern era. The Keeling Curve, launched and maintained by Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, measures the concentration of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide in air and is named after geochemist Charles David Keeling (1927-2005). Animation by Killer Infographics.
