Thank you so much for this! I go between soft square & this because my nails start to curl down once they grow to a certain point, .meaning they can't keep the soft square shape. But I really struggled to maintain this shape once I've done it 😭 I end up filing them down to short soft square & it's a never ending cycle! Would love to maintain this shape with much longer nails. They catch & split much less too in this shape 🤗😘

I have been following your advice and using oil on my nails multiple times a day for a few weeks now. Most of the damage (Acrylics) has grown out and my nails are looking the best they ever have. My thumbs have still a little bit more to grow out. I haven’t been wearing nail polish…as I wanted to use the oil on my nails as well as the cuticle. Very informative! I’ve needed a shaping video. Telling us HOW to place the file was very helpful. On the pinky finger of the second hand (around 6:45) there is a white piece on the right side of the nail. What is it and what should one do about it? I also get these on some nails. They’re usually hard and can be peeled back and then clipped off. But not sure if that’s what I should be doing. Thanks!

I am so thankful for these shaping videos! Do you prefer the 'sandpaper' type of file to a glass file? What is your preferred remover for Dazzle Dry polish, acetone or non-acetone?

I've learned a lot from your videos and thank you for sharing your vast knowledge. Have you tested and evaluated nail glues? I have vertical cracks in some of my nails and would like to glue them in place until they grow out. Is this okay to do? I imitate your nail modified shaping and really like how it looks. It's better for brittle nails too. PS I'm old and nails have ridges as well.

I’ve done this nail shape in the past, but I just feel like it’s too time consuming. I take forever to shape the nails. So I just stick to my regular square/rounded shape.
