Bill asks questions to his guests so he can answer his own question about himself. He literally spent this whole short taking over his guest about himself while his guest was trying to answer the question.

Asks a question. Doesnt stop talking to get an answer.

To me, depression and sadness are two different things. Being sad about a thing is different than depression. Sadness can be quite deep and still not be depression. Depression seems more of a chemical thing that doesn't care about circumstances

Julian has that " I shouldn't have agreed to do this" look on his face😂

I’ve had depression. I was self employed selling my own software. 20 years ago I received a 5k order that I could’ve processed in 5 minutes. I never did process that order. I felt frozen. It’s hard to describe and even though I’m somewhat better today, I still struggle with it to some extent.

Clinical depression can hit someone even when they have everything they want and are having a great year. It’s akin to diabetes, you don’t always have control over it. If you think it’s only situational, you’re lucky enough to never have had true clinical depression.

As someone who was diagnosed as clinically depressed a while ago now I can relate in knowing exactly why I'm depressed. My problem is that I never know how to solve or change for the better the things I'm depressed about and no one has given me helpful advice on how to overcome that.

It's called a chemical imbalance, Bill.

Given that the brain is the catalyst of the body, it isnt suprising that a million things could go wrong. Depression is one of them. Its like what Neil Tyson said on Joe Rogan when asked why he didn't do mushrooms, "the mind BARELY works as it is" he said.

That’s not depression. Is just being sad about something. Depression is a pain like grief of great volume for no reason. Maybe stuff can trigger it but then it stays there after the thing is gone. Then it shows up every now and then with no apparent cause

It's clear that Bill knows NOTHING about depression.

Bill come on dude, its the rut you can't get out of, the black cloud that never goes away. The inner voice starting being an enemy rather then friend. The list of explaining how it feels goes on

The entire show was Bill asking question then cutting him off so he could answer it himself. He needs to not drink

Hard to really explain depression unless you have it. And even then it isn't easy. Most people would think I have a great (not just good) life. But depression ensures that isn't the case.

Why are you asking your guest questions that you don't let them answer. That's right...this show is really about you.

‘Can I ask you a question about depression? What makes you depressed?’
‘People who ask me questions and don’t wait to listen to the answer.’

Being depressed about something and having depression are two different things.

Bill has never had depression that is why he doesn’t understand it. If you’ve had depression, whether you know why or not isn’t really what is the problem. It’s the depression that you can’t shake. If everyone had a problem that causes depression you would simply fix the problem and no more depression. It goes so much deeper. The feeling of depression and clinical anxiety are the most terrible feeling you can have besides the loss of a loved one. Even then I believe you can get over that loss for most people but depression is just soul crushing.
