I agree your face is thinner and you do look happy. Even though I miss your turning it is wonderful you are happy. Connie has gotten so much bigger. Look how happy she is catching those wood slivers.

The clip with Connie is the most wholesome thing to come out of 2020. Sending love from Scotland.

Welcome back Tom. Glad you, Connie and your pup are doing well and that you’re enjoying your new job. I’m just selfish and don’t like it that it keeps you out of the shop making videos. Hopefully you still get time to do some fun turning for yourself. Stay safe and well so you’ll be able to make more videos. In case it is quite awhile before you get to make another 😥 I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Cheers, Tom

Hi Tom, Great to see you back and a fantastic return. I'm surprised you didn't go for something larger. LOL. As I have said before you are a natural teacher and explain things in such a simple manner. I'm so pleased you have settled in and enjoying your new job. Our loss but the schools gain. Take care Tom. Hwyl. Huw PS I don't know if I have every mentioned it but i trained as a Design Technology teacher in the late 70's at Shoreditch College in Surrey.

I don't want to sound like a creep, but I wish I had a woodworking teacher like you when I was in school, I'm sure I would have started turning long before my 40's!

Bi my name is Marvin williams, I have turned green oak bowl’s too. After I tire the bowl I fill the bowl with Desiccant and put it in two plastic trash bags or a big cooler if the bowl will fit in it and try to cover the bowl with desiccant. I the desiccant should be blue in color. When the desiccant turns pink you did to put the desiccant in the oven or microwave until it changes back to blue. I haven’t had a a green bowl crack since I have been doing this. Must of the time it makes 2to3 days to dry the bowl.
I hope you and your are all doing well. My name is Marvin Williams and I live I the U.S.A.
